I loved every page in this book. Full of grit and realness, Victor hits the mark with his poetry. I can't wait to dive into his second publication, Pill Bugs In The Bathtub.
Victor is one of the most exciting new poets I have found. He is like a cross between the great Charles Bukowski and of course, being his own man. His poems, recall some of the best work to come out of the great City Lights writers in the 1960s. He is gritty and powerful and yet at times displays a great empathy with the 'lost man's' condition. I can hardly recommend this new book of poetry enough. Look out for future books too because he's already building up a following of dedicated fans.
